Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

O.M.G
I will ne-ver talk enough about this movie.
"Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" demonstrates that memories are just not files that may be erased. They are more than just thoughts in the mind because they shape the essence of the self. People require both the good and the bad in order to learn and grow.

"Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" changed my life the first time I saw it.
This almost never happens to me, and I presume I understand why I enjoyed it the first and only time it did. It's among those rare films that I'd rather watch alone than with a group.
It seeks something personal, such as troubling memories deeply buried within our subconscious. It's a film that demands the presence of thoughts we dismiss when we're surrounded by people, things we only consider when we're alone, buried in eternal thoughts.
"Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" is a work of art that is both therapeutic and liberating.

This fantastic screenplay revolves around Joel (Jim Carrey), a performer trapped in the monotony of everyday life until he meets the spontaneously laidback Clementine (Kate Winslet).
When he discovers that she had him erased from her memory, their relationship appears to be nearing an end.
In desperation, he retreats to the only sensible answer at the time, wiping her away from his memory. However, as he recalls the passionate days of their previous relationship, he falls in love with her all over again.

Then, the movie takes a Hitchcockian turn, becoming a man-on-the-run film, though this time the protagonists are fleeing an unreachable entity. They rush from one memory to another while frantically attempting to avert the inevitable erasure process.
It's one of the most creative and original concepts ever captured on film.

One of the philosophical questions raised by this film is whether we are just the sum of our memories or if we are more than a bundle of past experiences.
I'll let you with this question;
 Would eradicating an occurrence from our mini-history be beneficial?
